Professional Development for Educators

As of July 1, 2008, Prince George's County Public Schools Provisional Teachers

Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) will pay $510 per course for many of its provisional teachers (check with your PGCPS Professional Development office to see if you are eligible for this tuition assistance).  Provisional teachers who have a valid billing authorization letter from PGCPS will owe any late fees, lab fees, or parking fees for each successfully completed Continuing Education graduate credit course approved by PGCPS.

Without this letter at the time of registration, or a B grade or better after completing the course, students are responsible for the full tuition amount of $510.  Students must submit an official current billing authorization letter for each registration form they submit.  Billing authorization letters and the student's portion of the tuition must be submitted at the time of registration.

Note:  Tuition and the amount of PGCPS Provisional Teacher tuition assistance is current as of the Fall 2008 semester.  This information is subject to change in future semesters.
