The Gates Millennium Scholars Program – This amazing scholarship program covers the entire cost of education for high achieving students from underrepresented backgrounds. Students who are selected for this prestigious and generous award have their tuition, books, room & board and transportation to and from school paid for by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Students who receive this award as an Undergraduate automatically receive this award as a Graduate student. Information on this scholarship is available at: www.gmsp.org

- First In My Family Scholarship - Deadline: April 15, 2008
The First in My Family Scholarship Program, developed in partnership with the Hispanic College Fund, offers scholarships to Hispanic-American students who are the first in their family to attend college, and have financial need. The program is open to Hispanic Americans who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at approved, accredited institutions. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000. - Writers of Passage Scholarship – Deadline: February 2008
In partnership with the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, this program is an essay competition that awards four winning students from a Historically Black College or University, or a predominantly black college, with a $5,000 college scholarship. Schools that scholarship winners are attending also receive a $20,000 grant. - Community College Transfer Scholarship – Deadline: March 15, 2008
The Community College Transfer Scholarship Program, in partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, is open to Hispanic students transferring from a community college to an approved, accredited four-year institution. Eligible students are Hispanic Americans who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, full-time undergraduate students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale). Award amounts range from $1,000 to $2,500. - Unmet Need Scholarship – Deadline: May 31, 2008
Open to families with a combined income of $30,000 or less, this program supplements financial aid packages that fall more than $1,000 short of students’ financial needs. The Unmet Need Scholarship Program is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are accepted or enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at approved, accredited institutions. Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible to apply. Recipients are selected based on financial need. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,800. - American Dream Scholarship – Deadline: April 15, 2008
In partnership with the United Negro College Fund, the American Dream Scholarship Program is open to African Americans with financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, with a minimum 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), who meet Pell Grant eligibility criteria, and are enrolled full-time at approved, accredited, undergraduate institutions. Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000. - Sallie Mae 9/11 Education Fund – Deadline: Rolling
The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund was created in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The scholarship program is open to children of those who were killed or permanently disabled as a result of the terrorist attacks, and who are enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at approved, accredited institutions. Scholarship awards of up to $2,500 per applicant, per school year, are available and may be renewed on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Off to College Scholarship Sweepstakes - You could win a $1,000 scholarship and a $250 gift card for you, plus $1,000 for your school. This sweepstakes is for current high school seniors. One winner will be chosen every two weeks from October 31, 2007, through May 15, 2008. Students can begin registering September 14, 2007, and the first drawing will be held on October 31, 2007. It is free to enter and eligibility is not based on GPA or financial need. John Gyles Education Awards - These awards are available each year to students in both Canada and the United States. They are the result of a private, benevolent endeavor established in 1990. Full Canadian or American citizenship is a requirement. Awards are available to both male and female students for all areas of post secondary study. A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required. Criteria other that strictly academic ability and financial need are considered in the selection process. Selected students will receive up to $3000. 10th Annual Essay Contest on Ayn Rand’s Novel Atlas Shrugged - There are three possible questions to answer for this essay contest. Essays will be judges on both style and content. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Winning essays must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of Atlas Shrugged. The Hispanic College Fund (HCF) Scholarship - The HCF has several scholarship opportunities available for the 2008-2009 school year. All applications can be filed online and can be found at www.hispanicfund.org. The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) offers scholarships to students pursuing studies in accounting, finance, IT or a related field. - Google Scholarship Program – Deadline: March 29, 2008
The Google Scholarship Program offers funds to students studying computer science or computer engineering who are juniors or seniors in college or pursuing a Master's or PhD. Selected scholars will be invited to an all-expenses paid trip to the Google Headquarters in California in spring 2009. - Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program – Deadline: March 29, 2008
Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program offers funds to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing. Students who are selected will receive a scholarship for $8,000 each year they attend nursing school. C2C Scholars will also receive a $2,000 stipend for the summer work study program at Kaiser Permanente! - Pharmacy Scholars Program – Deadline: March 29, 2008
Pharmacy Scholars Program offers funds to students who are pursuing a degree in Pharmacy who have completed one-year of pharmacy school or are in their second year into their pharmacy education. Students who are chosen for the Pharmacy Scholars Program are required to work at a Costco Pharmacy store for at least one year and will receive $500 dollars towards their licensure exam. - The Marriott Scholars Program – Deadline: April 15, 2008
The Marriott Scholars Program offers financial support of up to $9,000 per year for four years coupled with opportunities for on-going career guidance and mentoring by Marriott hotel managers and corporate executives. Marriott is the largest and most rapidly growing leader in the hospitality industry, offering a diverse range of career opportunities in hospitality management, hotel management, food & beverage and culinary. Marriott provides internship opportunities at hotels where you can experience first-hand Marriott's rich culture, "Spirit to Serve" philosophy, and diverse family of associates known for the care they provide to guests, each other, and our communities. - Lockheed Martin Scholarship Program – Deadline: March 22, 2008
The Lockheed Martin Scholarship program scholarship funds for students from pursuing degrees in business administration, science or engineering. - The Hilton Family Diversity Scholarship Program – Deadline: March 15, 2008
The Hilton Family Diversity Scholarship Program awards scholarships to deserving Hispanic students attending any four-year college or university within the United States. This program is designed to help ensure educational access and ease the financial burden of attending college. Ten Hilton Family Diversity Scholars will be selected to receive renewable scholarships for $2,500 and will attend the Hilton Scholars Retreat July 26-29, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. - MUST Scholarship Program – Deadline: Rolling
This program is open to all U.S. citizens, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) discipline at a college or university that is accredited in the United States are eligible for the MUST funding opportunity. Students of all underrepresented groups (Women, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans and persons with disabilities) are encouraged to apply.
