Dean's Letter

Dear Trinity Seniors and Graduate Students:
Congratulations! You have completed your application to participate in the Commencement ceremony, and are completing (or have completed) your requirements for graduation. Trinity will confer your degree at the 2008 Commencement on Sunday, May 18, 2008. I am writing to provide you with as much information as possible to make this a memorable time for you.
You are responsible to read and pay attention to all information about completion of your academic requirements, financial obligations, and Commencement directions. In order to ensure a joyful Commencement weekend, we ask you to (a) take care of your academic and financial obligations well in advance, and (b) arrive on time for all events with all the appropriate regalia.
Trinity's Bookstore will post specific hours during which you may purchase Academic Regalia. The prices for Regalia are:
Baccalaureate (Undergraduate) Degrees
Cap, Gown, Tassel - $27.65 Hood - $22.00Degrees Master's (Graduate) Degrees
Cap, Gown, Tassel - $30.40 Hood - $24.75
Beginning the week of April 14, you may pick up Commencement Announcements in the Office of the Dean of Student Services (Main 125) and the academic deans' offices for the School of Professional Studies and the School of Education. All graduates will receive 10 announcements.
Please pay close attention to the RAIN PLAN. Ticket limits will be strictly enforced in the event of rain. Please plan accordingly with your family and guests to avoid conflict on Commencement Day.
The Registrar's Office has communicated directly with you concerning academic requirements for graduation. Similarly, the Office of Student Financial Services has communicated directly with you about settling your accounts in time for graduation. You are responsible to pay attention to these directions and to settle your accounts in a timely manner in order to graduate.
