Approaching Her Work With Integrity and Excellence

Tonya Esposito Oliver, an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, a law firm in downtown Washington, D.C., focuses on antitrust litigation and criminal and civil investigations.  She approaches her work with integrity and excellence – values she says were emphasized during her undergraduate experience at Trinity.

A 1996 graduate of Trinity, Oliver believes that Trinity prepared her well for the rigors of law school at American University and her law career. She majored in sociology and credits Trinity with sharpening her research, writing and analytical skills.  She was a member of the student Judicial Committee and, through Trinity’s Campus Ministry program, she traveled to Apopka, Florid, during spring break to live and work with migrant farmworkers.

“The Trinity experience is about empowerment,” says Oliver.  “As an undergraduate at Trinity, my exposure to so many gifted, successful women inspired me to set goals – both personal and professional – and achieve them.  I’ve come to realize how unique my college experience at Trinity truly was, and how fortunate I am to be not only a Trinity graduate, but a member of the Trinity community.”
