Trinity Students Impress at DCCA Conference
Students in Trinity’s Master of Arts in Counseling program presented their research at the 43rd Annual Conference of the District of Columbia Counseling Association (DCCA) on March 1. The Conference theme was “The Counseling Profession is Unique and Vital: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.”
Students Gemma Camacho, Jose Medrano, Caroline Young, and Erica Young worked with the program chair, Ray Adomaitis, Ph.D., to develop their presentation titled “A Working Model for Counseling Immigrants and Refugees.” The presentation focused on Washington’s transformation over the last decade with the arrival of immigrant families and refugees from all corners of the world.
